Pop up update 9/30/25

upcoming prompts for october, PROMPT TIMEFRAME ADJUSTMENTS

We will be having our foxtober again this year, moderators silver and arahabaki have combined a few themes we think the community may enjoy this year! please make sure to read over the prompts information when attempting foxtober, and dont destroy yourself as we have 2 new prompts incoming as well but at differing timeframes to not overload that part of the month! one will be running from october 1st to the 22nd which will be the shedding of plenty, and another one going from the 23rd to november 13th!

The shedding of plentys original timeframe was a week, but since its the first release and we will be going on a pause for the domain migration at the start of the year, we adjusted for this timeframe instead!

RAFFLE FOX FOR THE NIGHT OF PLENTY

Our raffle fox for the event will be releasing latest during the shedding of plenty as well, please look forward to it as a closing piece to the isla solara release alongside the shedding of plenty and one more prompt focused on this new islands release and beginnings of another chapter into the scarfox worlds lore and events!

Dragon will be creating their masterlist and sending over their toyhouse within the next couple of days, thank you everyone for participating in this DTA, we hope you look forward to secret santa in december!!

new moderators in training haVE passed their training phase, welcome aboard the team in full!

We are happy to announce that all training mods and training oa artists have preformed wonderfully during their training period and will be coming aboard full time to aid scarfoxes into its next chapter, congratulations and welcome aboard fully we're very thankful for your aid and determination during these past 3 months <3, please look forward to what our new staffing has to offer and what we as a team will be brainstorming and bringing to the community in the future, alongside the new domain transfer starting in january!

ADDENDUM 9/17/25: Drums will be directly attach granted via admin to the fox in question its for, this seems to bypass the weird lock and puts it where its supposed to be for the time being.

Update 9/15/25, hiccup with drum creation leading to account bound item notice

We have been made aware that when users utilize the recipe system, and when the item is then created, it seems to then be automatically account bound (this was not happening before but seems to be a new hiccup on site). While the account bounding typically isnt the issue, its going so far as to prevent members from being able to put the item on the character itself, which we requested for the bonus for beyond the fiery stars, and the coder isnt sure why this is happening. Coder presumes that its due to the item having that function that its arbitrarily active, and we cannot turn it off. We apologize for this inconvenience, users who have created their drum and have this account bound issue please send in a claim with the following:

Title: "Drum Account Bound Hiccup"

please include the drum in the inventory items area, and link the fox its for in the character section. Dragon-Eternal will be adjusting and handling these claims for the time being.

We apologize for this inconvenience, but this is another reason why we're getting the domain migration up and moving, the current site seems to just keep making hiccups and we dont know why -@

7/22/25 pop up update

Heyo, wanted to update the community rq with the guest artist topic once more! After deeper discussion with owner and realizing the severity of our collective exhaustion and work schedules, we have moved guest artist applications one final time to October. We should not be moving them any further down the line unless something serious and unavoidable comes up that is out of our control, thank you for your patience and understanding. /gen

We are currently brainstorming ideas for winter prompt expansions with mods in training and official artists, and have started moving further on the lord of plentys prompt to come! MYO Admin and Admin are setting up for the final interview, then we should be going into deliberation and finalizing choices for staffing, with an announcement on new staffing in August!
