Noir’s Journal, Excursion Four

Well, it seems that this is a recurring thing for the time being. Searching for Poseidon to give him an outfit. I really don’t understand why he keeps coming for them. But it seems that Brii has written an entry herself here, so she must be doing the same thing. She also found Endeavor again I see, I am happy for her. Now she’ll be a lot more cheery around here. I’ve still been meaning to see him myself, I have only heard stories from Brii, but that is for another time. So for today I simply made a cloak, just like mine, but made of seaweed. It seemed like a great idea at the time, but I am starting to think it was a mistake. For one seaweed smells awful, not to mention the terrible color. And it also sticks to everything, ah well..I am sure this would be a lot better for Poseidon himself, seeing as the sea is where he lives. For sure he would not complain, he was always incredibly happy everytime we gave him something of ours. Anyway I got up this morning to cook a meal for Brii, but I think she had already left for the day. Gia stared at me through it’s little hiding hole, it’s an odd lizard. I thought it was hungry so I simply put some berries on a leaf for it, which it immediately ate. I laughed and tapped its head gently with my finger, then I grabbed Posiedon’s outfit and walked out the door. I didn’t have much to do today so I thought I would take another long route before heading to the sea. I was not sure where to go first, but then I took a look at my cloak and realized it seemed a little bland. Maybe I needed something else to go with it so I looked around for an appearance shop to find another item. Then I found a nice veil that would match his fins, it was a coral type color with gold bands to put around your arms. So I bought the veil and went on. Next I headed out and went to a nearby cave for fun. It was still pretty early in the day so I would have plenty of time to look around in here and then get back out to Poseidon. It was a cave I have yet to visit so I thought this would be a nice place to find some new items or jewels, and possibly find something for Poseidon since he has been so nice to us. I used one of my spells to put up the items I had for him so that they would not get messed up. I looked around the cave, you could hear the dripping of water and see faint glows of small gems in the ceiling, floors and walls. It looked incredibly nice there. But it was still dark, my eyesight isn't really the best so I kept stumbling on cracks on the ground and some small rocks, but thankfully I was not completely blind, the little crystals emitted some light so I could at least catch sight of the pathway. I followed it and stopped every once in a while to look at some oddly shaped crystals. I also saw a few GeGe lizards scattering about. They made me think about my Gia at home, I definitely should have brought them. They surely would have enjoyed it in this environment. I continued to walk the path and eventually found myself in the middle of a whole family of GeGe. They all looked up at me and scattered, except one who was still standing. I did not think I was THAT scary looking, but I guess they thought otherwise. But not this one, It seemed one of its eyes was cracked so I picked it up and gently placed it with the others. I hesitated for a moment as it stayed in place, suddenly I remembered a healing spell from one of my books, again I gently took the lizard in my hand and brought it up to the diamond on my forehead. It and my eyes started to glow as I chanted the words of the spell. And with a flash the GeGe was engulfed in light, as it faded I could see that it's cracked eye was now healed! I smiled and placed it back down once more, and continued on my walk. Soon I was at a dead end, but before I turned around to leave I saw a beautiful brilliant blue gem sticking out of the wall. I thought this would look perfect kn Posiedon’s seaweed cape, so I tried to pull it out of the wall, and with tons of force I managed to pull it out. It sort of fanned out and gave the appearance of, well a fan of course, but also a shell if you held it at a certain angle. I could find a way to make this into a buckle or a simple ornament for the button that holds the cape together in the front. But first I Would have to find my way out of the cave, and thankfully I could as long as I stayed where I could see the crystal lights, and soon enough I was back outside. It was afternoon now, and the sun was in the middle of the sky. So I started towards the coast of the Garden again. I snapped my fingers and Poseidon’s clothes appeared in my hands again. Once my feet touched the sand I immediately wanted to lay down and relax. I forgot how much the beach makes a fox want to lounge around, so I sat down in the sand for awhile, and for once I took my cloak off and sort of used it as a blanket by placing it over my legs while I found a way to put the fan shaped gem into Poseidon’s cape. I could hear the waves crashing in the distance, and suddenly I saw a bigger one appear with Posiedon himself on top of it. How in the world he knew I was here is beyond me. After his wave crashed down he smiled and came up to me, I looked up and told him that this was for him. He gladly took it with a big smile and put it on. He spun around once while watching it flow, which made me sort of laugh, then I pulled out the veil with golden bands and held it up to him, he casper and immediately put it on. I did not think he would like it that much, but he did. It actually did go very nicely with the colors of his fins. He told me he is excited to show this off to the other foxes of the sea. We said our goodbyes and he went back into the ocean. Today was a good one, i sat on the beach for a little longer snd simply admired the view.
